A red-hot Bee Two Bee will look to continue his winning ways in the featured Preferred 1 Pace at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park on Saturday, May 23.

The capital oval has a 13-dash presentation with a 6 p.m. (ADT) first-race post time and the $7,000 Preferred 1 Pace lines up in Race 12. Bee Two Bee makes his first start of the new season on the heels of his seven-race win streak to wrap up the winter meet.

Bee Two Bee has drawn post five for driver Jason Hughes and trainer Ashley Gamester fresh off of a 1:56.3 qualifier on May 16. The nine-year-old son of Sunshine Beach is co-owned by Donald MacRae and Blair MacLauchlan.

One Wicked Man leaves from the rail for trainer-driver Kenny Arsenault and Dusty Lane Levi has post two for driver Ken Murphy and trainer Earl Watts.

Malevolent kicks off his four-year-old campaign from post three for trainer-driver Paul Langille after banking $111,433 in his sophomore season in 2025.

Twin B Tuffenuff is the morning line favourite from post four by virtue of his two runner-up finishes to Blood Money in his last races, with that streaking pacer absent from competition this week. Corey MacPherson will drive Twin B Tuffenuff for trainer Ron Matheson.

Completing the field is post six entry One Eight Hundred, who won his most recent start on May 9 with a 1:53.1 clocking. Gilles Barrieau drives the pacer for trainer Matheson.

The Post Time Picks go with Twin B Tuffenuff in the Saturday night feature.

“Twin B Tuffenuff got a perfect pocket ride last week and closed in :27.3 to secure the silver. We’re betting MacPherson will be gunning from here and up near the action so don’t be shocked if they get the gold this week.”
