Michael Casalino Jr. and Dylan Davis’s Majorca N ($5) earned her third win in her last four starts when she took the $30,822 Free-For-All Handicap for pacing mares on Tuesday, May 21 at Harrington Raceway in 1:52.1.
Majorca N, whom Davis also trains, pressed pacesetter Misty Coast before eventually wearing her down. The win was her 34th lifetime and pushed her bankroll over the $500,000 mark. Rounding out the top three finish order for trainer Les Givens, Misty Coast was second by a nose with Incaseyoudidntknow third by a neck.
Corey Callahan was the winning driver behind the nine-year-old Art Major mare and returned to the winner’s circle after the next race with Oakwood Coral IR ($16.60), who prevailed for the second straight start in a $16,438 conditioned pace in 1:54.1 for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr.
Later on the card, J&T Davis’s Need Ur Opinion ($3.20) won her fifth straight race in a $17,123 claiming event for mares in 1:54.4 with Allan Davis in the sulky for trainer Tyler Davis.
Montrell Teague had three wins on the 14-race card, while Callahan, Morand, Barton Dalious and Art Stafford Jr. all had driving doubles.
