From the inside post, Tables Big Secret secured an easy lead as the 2-5 favourite and cruised to a 1:55.1 win in the $9,400 Fillies and Mares Preferred 3 Pace at Flamboro Downs on Saturday, May 18.

The four-year-old Big Jim mare pushed for the front from the inside while Lo Hold A Moonbean, from post two, ducked into the pocket moving to the backstretch. Tables Big Secret set fractions of :28, :57.3 and 1:26.3 while uncontested on the lead.

Jordies Hope mounted a first-over bid from fourth moving through the backstretch before retreating around the final turn. Tables Big Secret turned for home and cruised to a two-and-a-quarter length win over Lo Hold A Moonbean while Village Jamie, stalking the top two, finished three lengths farther back in third.

Owned by Linda Wellwood and Tammy Aspden, Tables Big Secret won her ninth race from 17 starts this season and her 10th from 28 overall, earning $62,287. Robert Shepherd drove the $2.50 winner for trainer Lyle MacArthur.
