Along with his track, Todd Haight, the new general manager of Batavia Downs, has been profiled in an article by The Daily News.
“I see tremendous potential here for food, racing and gaming,” Haight was quoted as saying. “This place isn’t even close to its potential, and to think we almost faced the wrecking ball. Now is such an exciting time to be with this company and to watch it grow.”
The article has also quoted Western Regional Off-Track Betting President and CEO Michael Kane as saying, “(Haight) has a very good relationship with our customers, the horsemen, judges and state employees.”
“I’m a fan and I’ve been to many tracks,” Haight, 53, was quoted as saying. “I know what works. I’m confident this will be a track where people will come and have a great experience.”
