Three divisions of the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes for three-year-old colt and gelding trotters were contested Thursday afternoon at Harrah's Philadelphia, with each division going carrying a purse in excess of $70,000.

The first division went to Wheelsandthelegman. The son of Donato Hanover fired fast off the wings, coasting to an easy win in 1:55.1 to remain undefeated in four lifetime starts.

Wheelsandthelegman is owned by Beth Carroll of New Holland, PA, trained by Walter Carroll, and was driven by Jim Raymer.

The second division was won by Stall TZ Inc’s Nuncio. The talented Andover Hall trotter was patiently driven the opening half, storming home the final half in :56.3 under minimal urging. Nuncio trotted the mile in 1:54.3 for his sixth career win. He was making his first start in 2014 after making $461,074 as a two-year-old.

Nuncio is trained by Jimmy Takter and was driven by regular driver John Campbell.

The third division was won by Charlie Norris and Leonard Buckner's Datsyuk. The son of Explosive Matter enjoyed the pocket trip behind heavily favoured Don Dorado, and was able to outduel the favourite in the stretch to win by one length in 1:55.3.

Datsyuk is now a perfect two for two in the win column, and was driven by Charlie Norris.
