Addys Way topped a strong Blooded Horse Sale Monday at Delaware, Ohio.
Addys Way topped the sale courtesy of a $33,000 bid from Don Perkins of Ohio. Racing competitively at Woodbine Racetrack, the daughter of Camluck took a record of p,1:52.1 in March and already earned $47,000.
Addys Way was part of Rene Allard’s stellar consignment that featured five $23,000 + racehorses.
The others that were part of the Allard consignment were preferred trotter Just Like Lloyd 4,1:53.1f, to Burke Racing Stable LLC for $30,000; conditioned pacer Orr Hanover p,1:51.2h, to Brandon Simpson for $30,000; preferred pacer MKG, to Carmen Auciello of Ontario for $24,500; and conditioned pacing mare Rub Thing, to Karma Racing in Florida for $23,000.
It was the best single day spring session in over a decade.
The next Blooded Horse Sale is August 26-27, which will include black-type yearlings along with a large selection of racehorses and broodmares.
