SBOA Stakes Headline Fireworks Night At Mohawk

Woodbine Mohawk Park invites the community to its highly anticipated Fireworks and Family Fun Night this Saturday, May 17 for an evening packed with excitement, entertainment and unforgettable memories.

This free, family-friendly event features thrilling live harness racing, giveaways, delicious food offerings, face painting, kid's craft stations, the opportunity to meet a racehorse and other live entertainment. The night will cap off with a spectacular fireworks display following the conclusion of live racing.

Guests will also have the chance to experience live harness racing throughout the evening and explore Woodbine Mohawk Park’s family-friendly amenities.

Woodbine Mohawk Park is located at 9430 Guelph Line in Milton, Ont. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy the full lineup of activities and secure prime viewing for the fireworks.

Post time for the 10-race card is 6:35 p.m. and live racing is expected to conclude around 10 p.m. The four divisional finals of the SBOA Stakes for Ontario-sired three-year-olds headline the program with reigning Horse of the Year Chantilly set to make her highly anticipated sophomore debut for regular reinsman James MacDonald and trainer Nick Gallucci. The undercard includes a $36,000 Preferred with a full field of 10 top pacers including O'Brien Award winner Nijinsky, who will launch his four-year-old season in rein to Louis-Philippe Roy for trainer Tony Beaton.
