Trot Insider has learned that there has been a race date change for the previously-announced program of live harness racing that will be taking place this year at the Leamington Fair.
Officials had announced earlier this week that Leamington was approved to conduct the live card of racing on June 21, although Trot Insider has learned that the date has been changed.
The date change has come due to a conflict in scheduling with Dresden.
Officials with the Leamington District Agricultural Society have now announced that the card of live racing will now take place on Saturday, June 20. First-race post time will be 1 p.m.
Racing at the fair is being sponsored and run by the Leamington District Agricultural Society. Officials have also told Trot Insider that Ian Fleming will be the race secretary.
