Blooded Horse Sale Results In

The three-year-old trotting gelding Stanchion Hanover topped the Blooded Horse Sales' Spring Mixed Sale, which took place May 10 and 11 at the Delaware Ohio County

Fairgrounds.

Stanchion Hanover topped the sale courtesy of a bid of $17,000 from Brent Davis of Ohio. The son of Cantab Hall was consigned by Burke Racing LLC.

Another promising young trotter, JL Rockin Jake, was purchased by Doris Marine for $12,000 to race in the state of Delaware.

All Natural, a three-year-old Allamerican Native filly racing in $11,000 conditioned claimers at the Meadows, was purchased for $11,500 by Claude Huckabone of New York. Charles Stewart signed the ticket at $11,500 to bring Indys Z Tam back to Indiana to race. The daughter of Dontgetinmyway had been competing at Woodbine Racetrack this winter.

A pair of three-year-old pacing geldings brought $10,000 each to race in their respective states. Lee Roy Akers got the nod for the Full of Fun son Candor, who is staked at the Ohio fairs. Robert Barnard will keep Economize by Dragon Again at the Meadows where he’s been racing competitively in conditioned claimers.
