Sudbury Training Triple For Lamoureux

New trainer Yvon Lamoureux teamed up with driver David Dowling to earn the most wins on the Wednesday evening harness racing card at Sudbury Downs

. The winning combo scored three wins during the eight-race program.

Seven-year-old The Panderosa pacing mare The Panductor ($3.20) kicked off the card with a wire-to-wire half-length victory, his fourth straight, for the duo before they went back-to-back in Races 3 and 4. Six-year-old Cams Card Shark gelding Poker Legend ($11.40) scooted away to score by nearly seven lengths in the third race and eight-year-old Power Beach gelding Wild For You ($7.30) front-stepped his way to an one and a half length victory in the following dash.

Lamoureux now boasts 11 wins from 20 starts in his career for an impressive .577 training average. The 56-year-old resident of Chelmsford, Ont. sent out a perfect five-for-five in his training debut on April 23.
