New trainer Yvon Lamoureux teamed up with driver David Dowling to earn the most wins on the Wednesday evening harness racing card at Sudbury Downs. The winning combo scored three wins during the eight-race program.

Seven-year-old The Panderosa pacing mare The Panductor ($3.20) kicked off the card with a wire-to-wire half-length victory, his fourth straight, for the duo before they went back-to-back in Races 3 and 4. Six-year-old Cams Card Shark gelding Poker Legend ($11.40) scooted away to score by nearly seven lengths in the third race and eight-year-old Power Beach gelding Wild For You ($7.30) front-stepped his way to an one and a half length victory in the following dash.

Lamoureux now boasts 11 wins from 20 starts in his career for an impressive .577 training average. The 56-year-old resident of Chelmsford, Ont. sent out a perfect five-for-five in his training debut on April 23.
