It has been reported that the Running Aces Harness Park in Minnesota has been taken off gambling legislation in the state. Supporters are reportedly focusing their racino efforts on Canterbury Park

.

An article on hometownsource.com cites Dick Day -- the former state senator that is now president of pro-gaming expansion group 'Racino Now' -- as saying that Running Aces did not contribute start-up funding for the group's initiatives.

“We brought them (Running Aces) on board because we thought it would help us. What we found is that it didn’t,” Day was quoted as saying. “We figured, ‘hey, if they want to have their own bill, or whatever, they can do whatever they want.'”

Racino Now is currently focusing its efforts on getting the legalization of 2,500 video lottery terminals for Canterbury Park.
