The Wednesday morning qualifying races at Olympia of Palm Beach Training Center saw driver Fern Paquet, Jr., win four of the five races for trotters and pacers.
The track was fast but it was a very warm 90 degrees(F) at post time, the judges gave a one second allowance.
Paquet started off the day winning the first race trot with Celebrity Liberty (2:05.1), and returned to the winner's circle with Celebrity Miracle (1:58.3), Baggage Claim (1:57.2) and Hugh Hefner N (1:58.1).

“It always feels good winning a race,” Paquet said. “It’s nice to be able to stay sharp driving a few horses. It also is keeping the horses sharp in the hopes we get racing soon.
“I can’t wait to race for some money again, especially when you drive a horse like Celebrity Miracle, who really impresses me. He definitely will be fun this summer wherever he races. Untill then he will continue to be ready to go,” added Paquet.
