Team Allard kicked off Tuesday’s card at Georgian Downs with a win and they finished off the 12-race program the same way. They also nabbed a trip to victory lane mid-way through the card to help them produce the Tuesday triple
Trainer Rene Allard and driver Simon Allard took the opener with You Gotta See This in 1:53 before returning to victory lane in Race 8 with Ocean Lavec in 1:59.2. A 1:56 tally with Spender Hanover in Race 12 completed the three-bagger for the siblings, who both enjoyed a career year in 2009.
Rene sent out 291 winners last season while stashing away more than $2.4 million in the process while Simon sat behind 312 winners and banked in excess of $2.6 million.
