Another weekend of stakes action at Yonkers Raceway begins Friday night, as the track will be playing host to the $62,200 final of the Petticoat Pacing Series for three and four-year-old fillies and mares.
The final, carded as Race 10, will feature Rev Me Up (PP3, J. Bartlett, 3-1) who will be trying to complete a rare series double. She won last month's age-restricted (to three-year-olds) Hopeful Series over a 'sloppy' oval.
The sophomore daughter of Park Pace, with four wins and two seconds in eight seasonal starts, is trained by Ron Burke. The filly is the only three-year-old in the final.
"She's pretty green, but she has a lot of talent," Bartlett said. "She likes to have a target, so maybe we can get lucky and trip out.
"In the Hopeful, she was just better than those horses. Here, there's more talent, but she can handle herself."
The field for the final of the Petticoat Pacing Series, with declared drivers and morning-line odds appears below.
