Although most of the members of the Massachusetts Senate did not vote, a Bill calling for Video Lottery Terminals at the state's racetracks passed its first major test
yesterday.
The Massachusetts Legislature's Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies voted 12-2 in support of the Bill backed by Massachusetts House Speaker Robert DeLeo.
Harness Tracks of America has reported that the bill will now go forward with a favourable recommendation.
