Former Pennsylvania Sires Stakes champion and Grand Circuit stakes winner No Lou Zing garnered a bid topping the $150,000 mark when selling online this weekend.
No Lou Zing p,3,1:49.1f led this weekend’s auctions at onGait.com when he sold for $151,000 on Saturday afternoon (April 2).
Consigned by the partnership of 3 Brothers Stables of New York, Rojan Stables of Delaware and Caviart Farms of Virginia, the $614,000 earning Sweet Lou five-year-old is leaving the Nancy Takter barn and will begin racing for Jen Bongiorno. Ben Mondello of New York was the winning bidder.
Yankee Roller A p,7,1:50.4f, also currently racing at Yonkers, nabbed a bid of $35,000 from Rick Redder of Ohio. David Linker was the seller of the eight-year-old son of Rock N Roll Heaven. The Captaintreacherous four-year-old, Sky Captain p,3,1:56.3f, sold on Saturday for $23,200 to J R Ryan of Pennsylvania and Im Sponge Worthy p,3,1:50.4f, a Somebeachsomewhere four-year-old consigned by owner/trainer Eddie Williams of New York,
sold on Sunday for $20,000 to Mark Weaver of Pennsylvania and is headed to the Ron Burke stable.
