The New York Lottery has released the numbers for New York State's eight racinos in the fiscal year which ended March 31, 2010. The numbers indicate that sales and 'net win' were up at seven of the eight racinos
.
Net win at all New York racinos combined to total $1.04 billion, up $72.2 million or 7.8 per cent from the previous year.
According to a report by The Saratogian, Yonkers Raceway posted the biggest net win increase at 11.2 per cent.
The only New York State racino to see its net win decrease from the previous fiscal year was Monticello Raceway, which saw its net win drop 5.6 per cent. Increased competition from rival Pennsylvania has been cited as the reason for the reduction at Monticello.
