Benefitting from a perfect second-over trip, Buck I St Pat ($4.00) beat the boys yet again, taking her second $32,000 Open Trot at Harrah's Chester on Friday afternoon

With Y F Little Guy breaking stride at the start of the race, Buck I St Pat found herself last of the main group, sitting well off leader Big Boy Lloyd through a :27.4 first quarter and a tepid :57 half mile. With Lolique (David Miller) having commenced his first-over rally, Tim Tetrick angled the seven-year-old Jailhouse Jesse mare second over up the backstretch, not catching the cover of Lolique until reaching the far turn. With Big Boy Lloyd prompted along to a wind-aided 1:24.4 three-quarter split by a tiring Lolique, Buck I St Pat was poised to make her move at head-stretch, angling three-wide and holding off a hard-closing Looking Hanover (Yannick Gingras) in 1:53.2, who showed his best late kick up the open stretch. Big Boy Lloyd was an all-out third.
