Live harness racing at The Meadows continues Saturday when the 11-race program features a $25,000 total-pool guarantee and “must pay” for the Jackpot Pick 5 (race 4). Ordinarily, the jackpot is paid only if there is a unique correct ticket. However, because Saturday is the final day of the current meeting with no carryovers permitted, payout of the entire pool is mandatory, and all players with correct tickets will share the spoils.
For that reason, the final-race Super Hi-5, with a carryover of $1,017.66, also is must pay.
