Harrington Open To Main A Dieu Too

Gary Ewing’s Main A Dieu Too notched his fifth win of the year Monday in the $18,000 Open Pace in 1:57.3 over a 'sloppy' racetrack at Harrington Raceway.

Favourite Fissato set a fairly fast pace for the conditions of :28.2 and :58.1 while Shark Ingested wore him down to three-quarters in 1:28. Main A Dieu Too got in gear and late for Tony Morgan and catapulted to the lead in deep stretch. Shark Ingested held second while Eagle All rallied for third.

Trained by Ewing, it was the 22nd win for Main A Dieu Too, who paid $10.40.

Driver Victor Kirby had four winners on the program.
