Big Boy Lloyd ran his winning streak to four with a win in the featured Open Handicap trot on Tuesday Night at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs

. The race carried a purse of $25,000.

Big Boy Lloyd, a four-year-old stallion from the barn of Ken Rucker, came into the race having won consecutive conditions at The Meadowlands and a condition trot at Pocono. Leaving from post position 7 as the 7-5 favourite, he grabbed the lead around the first turn and held off an early challenge from former Hambletonian winner Vivid Photo. With Jim Morrill Jr. in the bike, Big Boy Lloyd was never again seriously threatened and came home a winner in 1:54.1, 1-3/4 lengths ahead of Nicoles Promise. The Mad Duke finished third.

Owned by James Ingram of Davenport, IA and sired by Dream Vacation, Big Boy Lloyd won for the eighth time in 26 career starts. The victory pushed his career earnings over $165,000.
