Trainer Jim Marino scored a hat trick on the 10-race make-up card at Fraser Downs on Tuesday (April 26).
Marino began the night with a gate-to-wire win by Yjuliahos ($4.70) in the evening's second race, beating her stablemate Annasfeatherfoot by 2-3/4 lengths. Two races later, Marino landed an upset with the second-longest shot on the board when Sam The Cat ($37.30) coast-to-coast victory. Marino completed the hat trick in the seventh race with a front-stepping performance by Hapuna Beach ($9.40).
