According to a report, the British Horseracing Authority recently contacted Betfair in regard to a jockey's blog on the exchange-wagering website. The action has led to a delay of the launch of the rider's column

.

"Quite what the BHA's exact issues are with the proposed column, which they had been aware of for some time, will no doubt be fully communicated to us in due course," Betfair Spokesman Tony Calvin was quoted as saying in a news item on guardian.co.uk.

"There has certainly been no falling out with the BHA over this, as we will work with them as always. But Ryan's column was certainly not going to be a tipping sheet, simply his honest and open views on his weekend mounts, during big festivals, and his take on topical industry issues."

Moore has been the Champion Jockey in Britain on three occasions (2006, 2008 and 2009) and has ridden winners all around the world.
