Igor Font put himself in good standing for the Oslo Grand Prix after winning the Finlandia-Ajo over 1,609 metres today on the European Grand Circuit at Vermo, Finland

Igor Font, driven by Jean Michel Bazire for trainer Fabrice Souloy, settled in third off the gate as Copper Beach led through the first 600 metres, but the five-year-old son of Andover Hall - Cologne Kosmos moved out into the flow down the backstretch. As the field entered the home stretch, Igor Font rallied off second-over cover and sprinted home for the win.
Lönshults Danne finished second with Highland Camilla taking the bronze.
