The dynamic duo of trainer Dr. Trevin Shive and driver Todd Trites had a big day at Truro Raceway on Sunday afternoon thanks to a three-win performance

P H Rockstar got the ball rolling thanks to his wire-to-wire score in Race 5 for Shive and Trites. The three-year-old son of Lislea-Taken led through fractions of :29.4, 1:02.1 and 1:33.4 before scooting home in a :30-second clip en route to posting the 2:03.4 victory.
Odds On Design also used front-stepping tactics to give Shive and Trites their next trip to the winner’s circle. The four-year-old Art Major miss carved out splits of :28.3, :58.4 and 1:28.3 before stopping the teletimer in 1:59.1.
The feature race on the matinee card also went to the combination of Trites and Shive, who watched P H Bestman knock off race favourite Putnams Force in a time of 1:55.2. The six-year-old son of Cambest tracked cover and then made a three-wide move late in the mile en route to posting the half-length tally over the free-legged favourite. Abby Best was third.
