Majorca N Takes Harrington Distaff Open

Mike Casalino Jr. and Dylan Davis' Majorca N ($5.40) notched her first win of the season in 1:53.3 on Tuesday, April 23 at Harrington Raceway in the $30,822 Mares Open Handicap Pace.

Corey Callahan and Majorca N held off a closing Grandeur Seelster to the wire to win by a measured half length. The nine-year-old Art Major mare has banked more than $470,000 in her career for trainer and co-owner Davis.

Callahan and Ross Wolfenden each had three wins on the card. Montrell Teague and Cody Poliseno, who drove two winners for his father Carlo, each had a driving double on the card.

Live harness racing at Harrington will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule.
