Hana Hanover, the 2007 O'Brien Award winner trained by Mark Steacy, qualified today at Rideau Carleton Raceway, as the five-year-old mare put in her first charted line since November, 2008
.
After taking a pocket ride, Hana Hanover, a career winner of over $831,000, paced to a two and a quarter-length victory in 2:01. Steacy was in the bike for the mile. The track was rated 'good' and given a two-second allowance in time.
Steacy had a slew of horses put in miles during the 13-race session.
