Gogetno served up an easy nine and three-quarter length victory to keep his Les Quebecoises Series record perfect on Sunday afternoon at Hippodrome Quebec

The nine-race card featured three $6,000 third leg divisions for trotters aged four and five with Gogetno ($2.40) a blowout winner in 2:04.2 in a field scratched down from six to four. The win was one of four on the card for driver Sylvain Lacaille.
The five-year-old Fortuna Winner-No Hesitation gelding, now three-for-three in the series and four-for-13 on the year, is trained by Martine Biron for owner Jeannine Biron of Trois-Rivieres, Que. Gabin and Tango Coucou finished second and third.
First leg winner Close The Light ($11.50) was back in the winner's circle in round three after edging out round two champion Erge Baboche by a neck at the wire in 2:05.4. Two-time series runner-up Xpress Panic settled for third this time out, but finished just half a length behind.
Trainer-driver Michel Audet also shares ownership of the five-year-old Peddler Yorktowne-Hazel B L Pass gelding with Jean Lavictoire of Clarence Creek, Ont. The win was his second of the season in 16 starts.
Nuriev Dream ($3) kept up her busy schedule shipping back and forth between Quebec and Rideau Carleton to compete in the Les Quebecoises Series and Out Like A Lion Series. She won the only mares division of this leg, which was marred with six of the nine starters making breaks at some point in the race. The Taurus Dream-Nugget Dream mare romped to a six and three-quarter length victory 2:05.2. Worthy Manue and Pitchounettecari were the best of the rest.
Colin Johnson trains Nuriev Dream for Claude Baril of Mascouche, Que. She was a runner-up in the opening round of the series and a winner last leg. The four-year-old mare also put in a third place effort and scored a victory in between starts in the Out Like A Lion Series. She now has five wins in 16 seasonal starts under her belt.
