Colin Johnson posted a training triple during Friday night's harness racing card at Rideau Carleton Raceway with help from a pair of mares including Out Like A Lion Series starter Nuriev Dream and the season-debuting $500,000 earner Warrawee Koine

Johnson teamed up with driver Denis St. Pierre (a four-time winner on the 12-race card) for all of his Friday night victories. The first came with six-year-old Astreo pacing mare Warrawee Koine, who won the second race winners over $25,000 pace for fillies & mares in 1:55.2 for owner-breeder Dr. Michael R. Wilson of Rockwood, Ont.
Three-year-old Lisa Mara pacing colt Kisskissbangbang notched his second win from four career starts in the sixth dash with a 1:59.2 effort for New Jersey's MG Racing Stables LLC.
In the following Out Like A Lion Series division, four-year-old Taurus Dream trotting mare Nuriev Dream, owned by Claude Baril of Mascouche, Que., edged out the popular first leg winner Future Talent to prevail by a head in 1:59.3. Nuriev Dream was third by half a length in the first round and squeezed in a victory in the Les Quebecoises Series at Hippodrome Quebec between starts.
Rae Conns Dyl Emma doubled up in the Out Like A Lion Series winning his $7,500 second leg division later on the card for trainer Rene Allard, who co-owns with George Grant of Oakwood, Ont. The four-year-old Southfork gelding, driven to victory by Simon Allard, cruised to a two length tally in 2:01 over Genevieve Dream and stablemate and Latorraca, also a first round winner.
The series is for non-winners of $30,000 (fillies and mares $37,500) lifetime as of Dec. 31, 2011.
