The Meadowlands will host a $25,000 prep race for New Jersey Sires Stakes (NJSS) eligible three-year-old trotters that is sponsored by the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Association of New Jersey (SBOANJ), carded as race 8 on the Friday, April 22 card.
The three-year-old trotting prep will also be written back on next week's condition sheet as a lead in to the first leg of the NJSS for both trotters and pacers on Friday, May 6. The NJSS continues with leg two on May 13 and returns after a week off for the finals on Friday, May 27.
