According to a report by The Lacombe Globe, there is still plenty of work to be done at Alberta Downs, but that didn't stop the opening card at Alberta Downs
in Lacombe from going off without a hitch.
The report states that Alberta Downs' owner Robert Allen still needs final approval for a development permit from Lacombe County. The piece states that a meeting held Tuesday, April 14 saw the resolution of some issues, but more still need to be dealt with.
