Michael Gulotta, whose Deo Volente Farms in Flemington, New Jersey is home to two stallions and numerous broodmares, has been appointed a trustee of the New Jersey Sire Stakes board, replacing Anthony Perretti.

Deo Volente stands the trotting sire Wishing Stone, a son of Conway Hall, who is racing during his breeding career. He won the Kentucky Futurity at three and the Copenhagen Cup at five.

Deo Volente’s pacing sire is If I Can Dream, who is by Western Hanover.

The offspring of both stallions will be eligible to the New Jersey Sire Stakes program and New Jersey-sired stakes and restricted overnights.

Gulotta is also a member of the Standardbred Breeders & Owners Board of Directors.
