According to an article by the Times Herald-Record, New Jersey Transit expects to begin using its new $216 million rail link to the Meadowlands as early as June of this year.
"We'll be ready well before the start of football season," Dan Stessel, a spokesman for NJ Transit, was quoted as saying. "In fact, we expect to begin testing — running trains on the line — within two weeks."
