Sporty Tori, finishing second in her career debut on March 12, won her fourth consecutive race when touring The Raceway at Western Fair District in a $9,000 conditioned pace going an added distance over a track rated "good" on Tuesday, April 16.

The Gord McKnight-trained Sportswriter filly slid to the top from the rail post and led Right As Rain by two lengths through a :28.2 opening quarter. As the 3-2 favourite slowed the pace to a :59 half, Ambers Shadow rolled off the rail from last and ranged uncovered towards the leader before flushing cover from Stolen Secrets.

Sporty Tori opened her lead through the backstretch while under pursuit from Stolen Secrets sweeping into second and Ambers Shadow racing alongside third. Mostly Dali maneuvered off the rail past a 1:31 third quarter and fanned three wide as Sporty Tori turned for home four lengths clear. Sporty Tori hit the wire under wraps, stopping the clock in 2:07.3 and two-and-three-quarter lengths ahead of Mostly Dali in second. Stolen Secrets held third.

Racing only five times, Sporty Tori's four-race win streak has accrued the M&s Racing Stable Inc.'s homebred $16,145 in earnings. McKnight sat in the bike behind the $5.00 winner.

Also winning for the fourth straight start was Tables Big Secret, an easy gate-to-wire 2:00.4 winner in Tuesday's eighth race. Robert Shepherd drove the Lyle MacArthur trainee, a four-year-old daughter of Big Jim - Table For Seven and a half-sister to O'Brien Award winning millionaire Secrets Nephew, for owners Linda Wellwood of St George Brant and Tammy Aspden of Caistor Centre, Ont.
