Gogetno romped to a three length victory on Sunday afternoon at Hippodrome Quebec to record back-to-back wins in the Les Quebecoises Series for trotters aged four and five

.

Five-year-old Gogetno ($3.10) and driver Sylvain Lacaille won their $6,000 second leg division after blasting to command from the outside post six and going wire-to-wire in 2:01.2. Pocket-sitter Le Senateur A L finished second while leg one winner Close The Light came in third. The Fortuna Winner-No Hesitation gelding, now three-for-12 on the year, is trained by Martine Biron for owner Jeannine Biron of Trois-Rivieres, Que.

In the other male trotting division, driver Marc Belanger and Erge Baboche ($4) converted a pocket trip into a quarter length score over pacesetter and slight favourite Xpress Panic, stopping the clock in 2:03. Gabin rounded out the top three finishers. The grey Newtown-Flashdance Merit five-year-old is bred, owned and trained by Eric Poisson of Becancour, Que. Rideau Carleton's Raindrop Series runner-up finished third in his first round Les Quebecoises Series division last week and now boasts three wins in 10 seasonal starts.

Bingo Millie ($7.10) defeated both round one champion mares Beer Maggs and Rea Bayama while making her Quebec debut in the mares series. Trained and driven by Stephane Pouliot, the five-year-old Have A Beer-Kiss N Tell miss advanced first up from third and wore down the pacesetting Beer Maggs for the half-length tally in 2:03.2. Favourite Rey Bayama finish two lengths back in third off a pocket trip. The win was Bingo Millie's second in five seasonal starts for owner Katia Leclerc of Quebec City, Que.

After finishing second by just three-quarters of a length behind Beer Maggs last week and third by half a length in Rideau Carleton's Out Like A Lion Series opener just two days ago, favourite Nuriev Dream ($3.30) made it to the winner's circle on Sunday. Driven by Pascal Berube, the four-year-old Taurus Dream-Nugget Dream mare advanced to the lead after the opening quarter and cruised to a 2:03.1 victory. Northernpromise and Monte Jojo followed over one and three-quarter lengths behind. Colin Johnson trains the winner of three races in 14 starts for owner Claude Baril of Mascouche, Que.

During Nuriev Dream's race, an accident occurred when Fauvette Gale broke stride and fell near the half causing interference to Pitchounettecari. Fauvette Gale's reinsman Jerome Lombart did return to the sulky later on the card.
