It has been reported that a champion Down Under thoroughbred trainer has launched legal action in Supreme Court in order to ensure a jockey she claims to have retained for Saturday's $1.5 million Doncaster Mile at Royal Randwick lives up to his obligation to ride
.
An article by the Sydney Morning Herald states that Gai Waterhouse has taken to the courts to make sure Nash Rawiller rides her pupil, Theseo, in the lucrative event.
The report states that earlier this week Racing New South Wales had ruled that Rawiller had been booked to ride another trainer's pupil in the race. Waterhouse reportedly appealed the decision, stating that Rawiller, who is her stable's jockey, "was booked (on Theseo) from Day 1."
