After a successful night at Grand River Raceway last night, regulars at the Elora, Ont. track may be seeing more of driver J.R. Plante this meet
.
Plante, a 29-year-old resident of Burlington, Ont., told The Guelph Mercury, "I usually go to Georgian on Tuesdays, but I might have to switch and come here on Tuesdays as well."
The comments came after the native of Quebec City reached the winners circle three times on the Grand River card, winning once with a 3-1 shot and twice with longshots (38-1, 18-1).
Speaking about the Grand River's first live card of the year, Plante said, "Everybody's in a good mood and everybody's looking forward to the new season. It's fun to come back here."
