Triple millionaire Arch Madness trotted to his second straight victory on Friday night in the $30,000 Invitational at Meadowlands Racetrack

Driven by trainer Trond Smedshammer, Arch Madness left from post six in the field scratched down to seven and cleared to command ahead of inside starter In Focus and Ron Pierce past the :27.3 opening quarter. The eight-year-old Balanced Image-Armbro Archer gelding proceeded to the half in :56 and three-quarters in 1:24.1 en route to a one length victory in 1:52.2. First over Fountainbleau Volo, driven by David Miller, finished second over In Focus.
Arch Madness paid $3.40 to win as the 3-5 favourite after earning his first win this year in the Open Handicap at Harrah's Chester on March 30. The victory was his 29th lifetime and pushed his bankroll to $3,233,988 for New York owners Marc Goldberg of Woodmere and Willow Pond LLC of Hewlett.
In other action, David Miller won five of Friday night's 12 races, including the $15,000 Spring Survivor Series Semifinal for trotters with Top Billing ($3.80) in 1:55.2. The Andover Hall-NY Starlet sophomore colt, who broke his maiden in his first career start in a leg of the series on March 30, is trained by Julie Miller for New Jersey owners Jason Allen of Vincentown and Douglas Allen of Southampton. Top Billing advanced first over to beat the pocket-sitting Not Afraid and Ron Pierce by half a length while his pacesetting stablemate Trouble and Andy Miller finished third.
