Kawartha Downs has a dandy of a card lined up for its fans today, as a pair of Preferreds will be contested as part of the 11-race program at the Fraserville, Ontario oval.
Brawn Seelster will look for a round trip to the winner’s circle when he takes on eight rivals in the $16,500 Preferred Trot, which goes as Race 5. Trainer/driver Callie Rankin will start from Post 7 with his stable star, who takes on the likes of Rose Run Hooligan and Indiana Hall.
The Preferred #2 Pace, which carries a purse of $12,000 in Race 7, will see Trouball take aim at a second consecutive victory for the duo of trainer Dave Gibson and driver Reg Gassien. The feat won’t be any easy one for the Post 7 starter, who will lock horns with the likes of El Toro Grande and Twin City Turbo.
