According to an article by the South Florida Business Journal, Pompano Park's holding company, PPI Inc., is looking for approval from the county to expand in the future
.
The report states that the company will tomorrow ask the Broward County Commission for approval for the changes, which will be part of future projects, not current ones.
The changes the company is looking for is listed below.
- Delete Parcel B (about 13 acres) from its overall plat.
- Expand the casino building from 46,503 square feet to 55,000 square feet.
- Expand the 115,906 square feet of commercial space to 175,000 square feet.
- Grant approval for a 500-room hotel.
