Trot Insider has learned that O’Brien Award winner Moving Pictures, who was retired last month after suffering an injury, is confirmed to be in foal.

Steve Calhoun, who co-owns the career winner of $1,302,492 with Mike Lindley, told Trot Insider everything has gone perfect since Moving Pictures made the career change.

“We were lucky to catch her on the first cycle so fast,” said Calhoun. “She only quit training on the Saturday, was bred the following Friday and is now confirmed in foal to Badlands Hanover!”

The Casie Coleman pupil was voted Canada’s Older Pacing Mare of the Year in 2007 after sweeping all of the nation’s major stakes – the Milton, Breeders Crown, Roses Are Red and Classic Distaff – that year.
