Niss Allen Inc.'s Skyway Bebop was a 1:56.2 winner in the Wednesday (April 12) $20,000 Open Trot at Harrington Raceway.

The six-year-old Guccio mare was prompted to the lead early from post position three, where she would march through fractions of :28.2, :57.4 and 1:27. Skyway Bebop never relented and notched her fourth win of the year narrowly over Swans Maid, who received a pocket trip, while Swan In Motion was third.

Trained by Tim Crissman, Skyway Bebop earned her 27th career victory and one of four wins on the program for driver Anthony Morgan, who joined Allan Davis with a grand slam that included two victories for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr. Skyway Bebop paid $27.40 to win.

Elmer Fannin and Brent Fannin's Zebulon notched a 1:56.3 win for trainer Carol Jamieson-Parker in an event for young trotters. The four-year-old Father Patrick gelding is out of the Breeders Crown-winning mare Kadealia. It was one of two wins for driver Jack Parker Jr. on the card. Zebulon paid $3.20 to win.

Live racing will continue at Harrington on a Monday through Wednesday schedule.
