Hollys Treasure made every panel a winning one in the $11,600 Preferred Handicap Pace at The Raceway at Western Fair District on Monday, April 1.
Dan Clements and the Cassidy Schneider student cruised through panels in :28, :58.1 and 1:26.1 before continuing home to win by 1-3/4 lengths in 1:55.1. Beach Tour (Mike Horner) took second and Taylors Credit (Natasha Day) completed the triactor.
Hollys Treasure (State Treasurer-L H Hollys Cam) is a six-year-old gelding owned by Colonel Schneider Jr. He earned his fourth win in 13 starts this year and his 23rd victory from 109 career starts. Hollys Treasure moved his bankroll to $160,531. Sent off as the 2-1 favourite, he returned $6.10 to win.
