Artful Way, sent the 1-5 favourite, and Ulster, the 1-2 betting choice, claimed victory in the Open Pace and Open Trot respectively on Saturday, March 31 at Saratoga Raceway.
Frank Coppola Jr. sat patiently with Artful Way in the Open Pace, sitting until the final three-eighths of a mile before unleashing the Jackie Greene trainee. The son of Artistic Fella swept his competition in progress to a 1:52.3 win, scoring for the 38th time in 108 starts.

The Amanda Facin-trained trotter Ulster wired the Open Trot field, doing so in 1:55.4. Jay Randall piloted the son of Glidemaster to an uncontested lead and to his fourth win in six starts this season.
