Holy Halibut easily overcame Post 8 in Tuesday’s $20,000 Winners Over $10,000 Life/Preferred Handicap Trot at The Meadows, rolling to his third straight win in 1:54.3.

Holy Halibut zipped to the lead for Dave Palone and had little trouble repelling the first-over thrust of Tamarind. The six-year-old Holy Guacamolie-CR Gone Fishin gelding defeated the pocket-sitting Trustworthy Kid by half a length while Call To Post found late racing room for show.

Ron Burke trains Holy Halibut, who extended his career bankroll to $236,481, for Burke Racing Stable LLC, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Michelle Yanek.

Mike Wilder was kept out of the winner’s circle for the first four races, but he dominated victory lane for the remainder of the card. He got on the board in Race 5 with Dreamlands Attack (1:56.1) and tacked on additional wins with Gambler Springs (1:57) in Race 6, Medoland Jate (1:54.1) in Race 7, Solicitation (2:00.1) in Race 11 and Dinger One (1:55.4) in Race 14.
