Eric Carlson continues his wizardry of finding his way to the winner’s circle thanks to a five-win performance on Tuesday evening at Windsor Raceway
. The Michigan resident, who compiled a record-breaking eight-win performance at Northville Downs on Saturday and then put together a five-win performance in Windsor on Sunday night, can apparently do no wrong these days.
Carlson won three consecutive races on Tuesday starting with a 2:02.2 triumph with Martinas Queen in Race 2. From there he posted a first-over score with You Raise Me Up (1:58.1) and followed it up with a driving away tally behind Little Ms Sunshine (2:00.3).
Win number four on the card was achieved in Race 6 with Country Fresh, who survived a first-over trip en route to a 1:55.4 triumph. Carlson capped off his big night at the office in the finale with Cadies Gotta Gun. She drew off to win Race 11 by four lengths in a time of 1:55.4.
Carlson has already chalked up 141 victories this season on the heels of last year’s personal best total of 603. He is a few thousand dollars shy of surpassing $500,000 in seasonal earnings, and he is just six wins away from 1,400 lifetime scores.
