The Bill Davis stable dominated this week's $10,500 Fillies & Mares Open Pace at Fraser Downs as entrymates Pureform Goodtogo and Gracie Montana were the top two finishers. Friday's card also included the popular 'Owner For A Day' promotion.

In the seventh race distaff feature, Just One More and Brandon Campbell cleared to command at the quarter-pole after a :27-second duel with insiders Drawing Dead and Travis Bowman. Just One More then led the field past the half in :56.3 while 1-2 favourite Pureform Goodtogo and Davis moved first up from third with entrymate Gracie Montana, driven by John Abbott, following their cover. Pureform Goodtogo collared Just One More as they rolled by three-quarters in 1:25.1 and drew clear down the stretch for the 1:54.3 triumph. Gracie Montana came on for second after winning the Open last time out on Feb. 20, while Drawing Dead closed up the passing lane to grab third-place honours just ahead of Just One More.

Jeff Elchuk shares ownership of the top two finishers. The winner, now five-for-six in 2015, was making her first start at the Open level this year.

The following fillies and mares claiming race was part of the "Owner For A Day" promotion and was dedicated to longtime standardbred breeder and owner Jim Vinnell, who passed away in January.

After sitting third for most of the mile, Sintowin Stable's Mach Away and trainer/driver David Hudon charged home up the passing lane to prevail over the pocket-pulling Rollin Deep for the 16-1 upset in 1:55, with pacesetter Justanother Day finishing third.

In a draw held prior to the race, harness racing fan Linda Wachowicz was named Mach Away's "Owner For A Day" and was awarded the $2,500 winner's share of the prize money after cheering the mare on to victory. The other top five finishers -- Bueno Angeles (Rollin Deep), Fernie Cabral (Justanother Day), Ray Aulik (Burstin Bubbles) and Sheldon Burwash (Call Me Up) -- also picked up cheques.
