The red-hot Travis Cullen stable put together another multiple-win performance at Century Downs Racetrack and Casino on Sunday (March 6), highlighted by the streaking pacer Outlaw Gunpowder.

Outlaw Gunpowder, the 2014 Western Canada Pacing Derby champ, posted the fastest mile during the eight-race card, winning a $20,000 claiming-conditioned pace in 1:54.1.

Cullen and Keith Hannah claimed the son of Smart Shark for $12,500 last Halloween and he has since won all but one of his 10 starts, with his current streak now at seven straight.

The field in the $9,600 affair lined up in post position order off the gate with Outlaw Gunpowder ($2.10) in fourth-place until tipping first over after the :29.1 first quarter. The heavy 1-9 favourite advanced through middle splits of :58 and 1:25.2 and then put away race leader Premium Attaction as he drew off by three and a half lengths in the stretch. Metajka Road finished second off a pocket trip while Blue Eyed Cowboy came from last and edged out False Advertising in a photo for show.

The five-year-old pacer has now won 17 of his 54 races lifetime and nearly $165,000 in purses.

Cullen's other Sunday stars were the maiden-breaking sophomore gelding Caliscape ($3.10) and four-year-old Florida-bred mare Gold Star Sonata ($2.20), both owned by Rachel Andrew.
