After sweeping the three-leg Ontario Boys Pacing Series, Mr Coolie captured his first Cam Fella Pacing Series division Saturday night at Woodbine Racetrack while Sixdaysontheroad dominated the fastest split earlier on the card

Mr Coolie and driver Doug McNair left from Post 5 and tucked into the pocket in his $35,000 Cam Fella division while Card Hustler (Mario Baillargeon) sped to the first quarter in :26.4.
Down the backstretch, 3-2 favourite Magicmaker Hanover (Jody Jamieson) advanced from third and settled on top at the half in :55.4. He remained in control past three-quarters in 1:24.1 while Cannae Rocky (Sylvain Filion) moved first up from fourth.
In the stretch, Card Hustler pulled the pocket and Mr Coolie squeezed up the rail to converge on the leader. Mr Coolie out-paced his rivals with a :28-second final frame and prevailed by a length and a half in a life’s-best 1:52.4. Card Hustler got up for second over Magicmaker Hanover.
Mr Coolie returned $11.60 as the 9-2 third choice.
The winning four-year-old son of No Pan Intended-Armbro Vertical is trained by Gregg McNair, who shares ownership with Ian Fleming of Londesborough, Ont. Mr Coolie has won four (consecutive) races in nine starts this year earning $72,910.
Two races earlier, Sixdaysontheroad went wire-to-wire to capture the first and fastest division in 1:52.1 for trainer Gord Remmen.
Driver Paul MacDonnell sent the 3-5 favourite to the top from Post 6 and never looked back en route to his fifth win in seven tries since making his move from Alberta to Ontario. The four-year-old son of Allamerican Native-Resume Speed has banked $73,860 so far this season for co-owners Walter Moroz of Edmonton and Willie Wychopen of St. Paul, AB.
Greystone Cash (Randy Waples) recovered from an early miscue to finish nearly five lengths behind in second and Gotcha Covered (Sylvain Filion) rounded out the top three.
Sixdaysontheroad returned $3.20 to win.
The Cam Fella Pacing Series, for three and four-year-olds who are non-winners of $100,000 lifetime as of October 31, 2009, will continue next Saturday night.
In other action, driver Jody Jamieson drove five winners on the 11-race program giving him 94 victories on the year and making him the nation's leading driver. Simon Allard sits close behind in second-place with 90 wins to his credit.
