Riggle Wealth, who hadn’t competed in a pari-mutuel event in 10 months, made a triumphant return to the racing wars on Monday (March 5) at the Meadows, as he overcame a Post 9 start and captured the track’s featured dash of the afternoon, a $10,500 non-winners of two conditioned pace.
Unraced at two, Riggle Wealth was off to a promising sophomore campaign — two wins in as many starts — when he was sidelined in May. On Monday, he flashed that promise once more when he zipped to the front for Dave Palone and scored handily in 1:55. He finished one and three-quarter lengths better than the pocket-sitting All About Heaven. Major Action finished third.
